Who can be a Mason?

A man who would become a Mason must be of moral character, have a good reputation, trust in God, make an honest living, and have fair dealings with all men.

At each Masonic step, he must learn the secrets of the craft and stand to be tested on those secrets. Though he will have brothers to help guide him to Masonic light, it is ultimately a path he must travel in darkness ... and alone.

And finally, he must seek it of himself; on his own. No lodge of Masons will ever ask a man to join them.
